1 · Layout. Tile forgives nothing, so we measure like it.

2 · Waterproofing. The part nobody photographs and everybody needs.

Every seam. Every corner.

Water finds the one spot you skipped.

3 · Wall tile. Thinset, press, level. Repeat until the knees file a complaint.

Ridges all one way.

Flat. Flat. Flat.

SQUISH
4 · Floor. Big tiles. Tight joints. Strong feelings about lippage.

Feel that edge? Lippage.

Not on my floor.

5 · Grout & finish. Wipe. Wipe again. Then pretend it was easy.

Nobody walk here.
